Theft and Burglary

In a recent case, our client was charged with both theft and burglary.

Facing a jail sentence, with a prior conviction on the table and other charges being considered, the client was in an unfortunate position of having little to no credibility in terms of being able to ask the Court for leniency.

We successfully argued that the community was not best served by incarcerating our client. By arguing that the circumstances of the client had changed dramatically since the arrest, and demonstrating to the Court that the rehabilitation opportunities were far greater outside of the jail system, we succeeded in allowing the client to walk out of court a free man.
